Attorney Dyvonnda G. Thurston PictureBeginning June 1, ,2015, Fletcher & Phillips is proud to welcome Attorney Dyvonnda G. Thurston to the firm.

Attorney Thurston received both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2004 and to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2013. She is a Florida Family Law Inns of Court Associate and a current member of the Jacksonville Bar Association.

Attorney Thurston began her legal career as a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office in Orlando where she focused on Domestic Violence Sex Crimes. She eventually left the State Attorney’s Office to teach at Florida Coastal School of Law, returning to the practice of law in 2012.

Dyvonnda also holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Stetson University.

She now focuses her practice in all areas of family law matters: divorce, paternity, same-sex divorce, parenting plans, timesharing (child custody and visitation), child support, spousal support or alimony, modifications of prior judicial or administrative orders, enforcement or contempt proceedings, criminal law matters including injunctions. In addition to family law matters, Attorney Thurston also maintains a practice in wills, estates and trusts.
